Master of Arts Teaching Education (Secondary Biology)

WGU provides three pathways for entrance into our Master of Arts in Teaching programs. Pathway 1 is completion of a related degree and a GPA of 2.5 or above. Pathway 2 is completion of an unrelated degree with sufficient coursework in the content area of the intended area of licensure and a GPA of 2.5 or above. Pathway 3 is a GPA of 2.0-2.49, passing Basic Skill Exam scores, and a completion of a related degree OR completion of sufficient coursework in the content area of the intended area of licensure. The specific requirements for admission via each pathway into the Master of Arts in Teaching, Science Education (Secondary Biology) program are outlined below. The degree or coursework necessary to meet these requirements must be completed prior to admission.

- A grade point of 2.0 (C) for each course submitted is required, in addition to meeting a cumulative GPA of 2.5 (or state GPA requirement if higher).
